Finished - But not in time for MB
Well, I finally got eveything put back together tonight. I was hoping to be finished last week, and make MB, but it didn't work out.
It ran good on the hose (fired right up with no leaks) - Jim's head showing just under 150psi across the board. I'm expecting some good results from the VF3's that I got from Carl. Also, side gapping the plugs really smoothed out the idle.
I just put on an R&D EFI controller (got tired of the Riva one screwing up) so if anyone has a good starting point please chime in.
Good luck to everyone @ MB - I'll be watching for the results. Be SAFE!

Another Idea for Tach Install
Here is another idea for mounting a tach. I used a piece of 1/4" aluminum and shaped it like the plastic piece that fits around the handle bar mounts.
The tach turns with the bars, so its always easy to see.

sweet looking ride, wish i could paint like that...not a biggie on flames but it looks sweet on yours-i like the tach placement too
efi 6616 or 6627 is a safe starting point. all efi's are different and i haven't gotten mine tuned yet so not sure exactly where i'm at. i am running pretty rich.

Thanks guys. Now I hope it runs at least half as fast as one of WFO's EFI single pipe monsters.
Hopefully I'll have some numbers in a couple of days.
WFO - I may be calling you bro on how to best setup the EFI controller.
