Now that's hardcore! Much more secure than the bow eye. Unfortunately I have my ski on a waveport so it would be impossible for me but thanks for sharing.

Remove the bow eye and bring it to the marine supply store, like West Marine, and match the stud spacing up to a standard S/S boat bow eye with no plastic over-mold on it. Leaves much more room for chain / cable and snap hook..

When putting the S/S one on, use red Locktite on the nuts, then some JB Weld on the exposed threads and nuts after nuts are on and tight. Eye bolt will be almost permanent, then. Well, super difficult to remove, anyway. Most thiefs will quit if they can't get what they want in less than a couple of minutes.

Yes, I think it would have been very effective. However, even though I kept my 'Ski on a trailer, it was such a nuisance to climb underneath and install the lock that I stopped using it.

I found a picture of the lock I had, WatCon still sells it:

It may not fit the wider PWC models. If interested, contact WatCon and get dimensions. I don't even know where mine is anymore.
