Stock FZS SHO only 63 mph GPS

I recently purchased a 2012 Fzs SHO with 83 hours on it and took it for its second ride of the season. I purchased and installed a tiny tach and Candoo GPS module. I was reading a stock FZ SHO should run around 67-68. I am hitting 63 and sometimes 64 on fairly calm water. My RPMs are 7700-7720 consistently at WOT. I plan on modding this ski but would like to get it running true stock before I upgrade it. I already have a R&D grate and wedge kit on its way due to reading about the buck issue 😫. Anything I should look for as to why Iím losing 3-4 mph? All I have done so far is spark plugs and oil change. Also checked air filter and looks good. Prop has a couple small nicks in it but looks overall in good shape.

I think your problem is related to impeller
My 2009 fzr sho when was stock gone 67 mph at 7400 rpm
    you are on rpm limiter.
try to check clearence from impeller to impeller housing.

If its got nicks that you can see then its robbing you of mph, replace it .

Thanks for the replies. I am going to check the clearance of the impeller housing when I change my grate out.

Think it’s time for a new prop? My impeller clearance was within spec

Look for a boost leak or check clutch to see if its on its way out.

Note it is impeller, who ever said clutch is wrong, look for it to expire around 250 hours at the 7700 limit a lot quicker if up the RPM's, note will pull 6600 when out you will know and it will not be over time you will have it, and then you won't, my stock ski will do 68 any day at 7400 rpm.
