    Don't have the tuning kit, but from my experience running PLX + MegaSquirt in cars, the PLX has both an analog and a digital output. If it's connected to the MapTuner with a 3.5mm headphone jack, it's using the digital. If it's connected from a wire on the molex it's using the analog and you can swap any other wideband (they all output the same analog signal).

    does the plx send lambda or afr to the maptunner ?

    All sensors output lambda, there's no way for it to know what fuel you're using.

    afr = lambda * stoich
