2010 RXT260 IS rub rail removal

Hi, guya! Been trying to.remove the rub rails on my RXT but those things are such a pain to remove. I tried sliding them but to no avail.

What is a good tried and tested method to remove them? Thank you!Click image for larger version.

Is there any hidden bolts underneath?

Remove the bumpers front and back. Then peel the side bumper away from the hull,
The bottom of the bumper has a hook and the upper edge has double side tape.

So would I need to 'unhook' the lower part first?Click image for larger version.

    Hi guys

Did you end up getting these off? I have the same ski and am trying to get my run rails off but running into problems.

I can see that I need to unclip them from the top first and then peel off. Problem is the double sided tape in the is sooo strong that I canít physically pull it away.

Iíve tried using a heat gun to soften up the tape, but then when I try to pull the run rail away, all Iím doing is deforming it.

    Dave
