Offically, the recommend fuel hose should be USCG A1(15) rated marine fuel hose.

This is generally double walled fuel hose with a reinforcing fabric mesh layer in between. It is typically black but is sometimes available in other colors. I used to have a spool in red.

Marine grade A1 rated J1527 hose is rated for use in enclosed marine hulls and has a fire resistance rating, which means the fuel hose will survive a rated duration with flame exposure before it will melt or catch fire.

Marine grade fuel hose also tends to be quite durable. Install it using high grade hose clamps and it should last for years. I also recommend Oetiker gapless/stepless hose clamps for vibration resistant and consistent, reliable hose connections.

Can someone point me towards a current supply of J1527 rated fuel hose in colors other than black?

This is the sort of thing I am looking for.

This particular fuel hose was originally used for factory production on Polaris watercraft circa early 2000 era. I just have a few feet remaining and it is not the correct ID size for my current project.

Looking around now I am only seeing black fuel hose that meets the marine ratings. Trident seems to be well regarded for marine fuel hose, as do a few other brands. However, black seems to be the only color option I am finding.

‘Arrow’ seems to no longer be making fuel hose, and/or might have been sold or otherwise disappeared years ago.

I'm looking for something other than stock for my 951 in 1/4" and 5/16", like red or blue, but I can't find anthing SAE rated.
