    DIY exhaust questions

So since I have family that can fabricate I'm thinking of asking them to make me an exhaust rather than buying one.
Prefer not to have anything that involves cutting the hull (have the rear step too so I think original exit is the best option)

For those of you who have made your own exhaust, is there a schematic with measurements I can get somewhere or is it just easier to take the original one out & get him to copy it?

I've made six or seven variations and when turning off engine steam flowing back to head is the largest problem I have.
I rec gutting stock box but do NOT cut the exit pipe off, leave it so it remains near the bottom of the box allowing water to be quickly evacuated. Otherwise the box literally fills up with water and you'll have problems. If you want it to breathe a little better, remove stock pipe and tig weld a 3 inch but make sure it sits near the bottom like the stock one. If you leave the stock 'stinger' coming off the exh mani you won't have steam issues.
    Good luck!

One 110 degree one 90 degree 20inch ally pipe, three stainless clips
I cut off the end from the old one left enough to fit the 90 on sealed up sounds and goes great.

I like that, and no kinks. Where did you get the 110 and 90 degree?
