also IF some feel that isnt for them & safety from tearin sh!t up was a concern...........then on your first reset cause they all need it IMO u can just increase the torque by just a few ft lb over whatever its at when its not making correct boost and keep removing & adding small amounts of additional torque to the clutch as it breaks in until u get full boost....its somewhat tedious either way........Good Luck!!!

    Good Luck!!!!

p.s. I also use a soft break in when I first go out after reset........so no hole shot/hammering throttle chops until I know its settled to where I want it on the gauge.so its more then one adjustment usually to get it where u want it!!!!!!
Okay thanks. FYI the recommended slip for the 142 is 18lb.

just SLIPPING in general used to make some of the GOLD washers heat to far then become brittle & crack like crackers inside your motor eventually ......hahahahahaha......im sure these NEW washers DONT DO any of that anymore..so a LIL BIT of torque at a time is TRULY BEST PRACTICE in the long run for most guys....Good Luck!!!!!!!!!!

Do you guys have upgraded pistons or rods to handle that kind of boost? Just fuel upgrades ?

    I was stock bottom end.
