Pic of brackets. Once ski is built she is getting a good interior detail. Inside looking dirty.

With filling the cutouts and using the FX brackets, are you guys swapping for longer bolts? I might tackle this one of these weekends. I have my FX brackets ready to go.

Yup, I saw when pouring the epoxy into the brackets it was filling areas and seeping between the liner and hull. Had to keep filling the voids to keep it full.

[QUOTE=LT1GMC;2998549]They are three times thicker than the cutout section of the hull they are replacing, and the are just a support which spreads the load over a larger area than just the FX inserts themselves. The are designed to use the FX inserts on top so epoxied in i cannot see any worries. Just my opinion, wish I had seen them before I did mine by milling aluminum out to just fill the space. Will be using these on my son's GP.

Since I have them Iím going to try them out for a season and see what happens. If I start to notice any cracking I will switch it up to the epoxy and fiberglass mat. Itís 3/4Ē starboard.

I just installed these on my Gp 1800 2 weeks ago. I can tell you that they are a very tight fit and the holes are drilled precisely. I used the larger Fx bosses on top with longer bolts. While I had everything apart, I slapped a Riva grate on. I can wait for decent weather

After I glassed it all in my stock bolts were long enough yet. The glass only adds 5-7mm thickness to the hull. I bought the 50mm bolts like Jerry recommended and they were too long. If you want longer bolts measure your current ones and add 5mm. Should do the trick.
