Speaking with Jesus, he says he likes these things between 12.2 and 12.8 and seeing as I picked up 120rpm just going up a few points, I think I’m going to bump it to 12.4 and leave it. I think part of the reason I can’t get to 8800 is I have the stock prop pitched. I don’t have a gauge or anything to do it properly, but I pitched the trailing edges exactly 1/16th of an inch with a variance of .05” between all three(checked with a micrometer) I’m wondering if that may be too much for this prop? How far does someone typically go when doing their own pitching without a gauge? Stock was 15/20...
Maybe I missed it but have you tightening up the spark plug gap?

I have not. Benefits? I think I was leaking boost through a bad coupler. It eventually popped off last week and was swollen. I put the correct coupler on (that I previously purchased, but was too lazy to install) and it picked up a lot of RPM. What gap is preferred?

With more boost and rpm, reduce gap by .002" or .003". For my application, I'm using a gap set at .024" (20psi @ 9000+rpm).

    I’ll try that.
