    2010 Kawasaki Ultra 260 Motor Parts

    Parts were pulled from a 2010 Ultra 260X motor that hydro-locked and broke a rod in cylinder #2

    Please be sure you view the photos and read the descriptions before buying. Make sure you understand the condition of these parts. They all have issues that may affect usability unless repaired.

    I'm looking to make this process as simple as possible, so shipping cost estimates will not be provided until you are ready to buy. Do your own research to get an idea of shipping costs (shipping from 11732). Parts will ship via UPS or USPS, whichever offers the lowest cost. Combined shipping is available.

    Cylinder Head ($100)
    - Cam support at the front of the motor has damage similar to a spun bearing. The metal is scored and formed a lip.
    - The cam cover has corresponding damage.
    - There is the usual crack between the cooling ports between cylinders #2 and #3.
    - There is also a crack between the cooling port and the cylinder.
    - This head was examined by the guy that posted the YouTube video about the cracking problem. According to him, these cracks do not cause a problem. Instead, cracking in the bolt hole causes these motors to leak water into the crankcase. He didn't observe cracks in the bolt hole.
    - Bare head only. No valves, springs, tappets, collets, shims, cams, etc.

    - Damage to the bottom of cylinder #2, including a piece that broke off (piece is included).
    - Aside from some light scoring/staining, the Nikasil plating in all 4 cylinders appears to be undamaged.

    I do... thinking about trying them in the Ultra LX motor I'm building to see if it performs better. Is that what you're looking to do?
