bored my thottle body from 52mm to 56mm yesturday
well i had a extra thottle body so i bored it to 56mm, recut the shaft for the bigger butterfly and am going to wire edm the butterfys on tuesday.
after mesuring everything i decided 56mm would be a good starting point.
theres enough meat there to bore to 59mm maybe 60mm if ya thinned the wall a bit more but then you would most likely need the stand alone ecu, im not even sure the rr would be ideal for the 56mm???? if this works out for us i will be able to bore as many as i need too, so stay tuned.
p.s. with all these ecu's being reprogramed now would be the time to bore tb's out so the position sensor will marry to the new prg accuratly.

Daniel, nils welded a bung in my J pipe and I used a cheap ass Autozone a/f gauge for a while just to make sure things were safe.
Shoot nils888 a PM and he will get a bung out to you.
Im about to order this though:

I would love to try out one of your bored TB's. Wish i had an extra one to send you.

Jerry if your interested, ill send ya this one to try and post your results. im curious how it will affect air mixture and performance.
I won't be able to test anything for a month or so while i gather the rest of the peices for my 06 mods. im plaining on installing it all at the same time due to it being so hard to work on anything in the tight space in there.
