Texas Closed Course Racing New Owner

A new owner has taken over the TXH2O Racing series in Texas.
Starting April 21, with new classes and racing formats as well as family oriented activities, the series will now be PRO Watercross. Working with ProWatercross owner AJ Handler, no schedule conflicts should come about.

The new owner Shaun Compton states that the move from IJSBA to Pro Watercross hopes to open to avenues to race sites, and hopefully more racers on the starting line.

More information can be found on Facebook TXH2O Racing as well as a web site.
Mr. Compton has already posted the race schedule for 2018. Quite impressive.

Should be a great year. I know Shaun has some good plans and it will be all about the racers. Hardest part for me is deciding which class I am going to race! Will do my best to make it to every race weekend

We plan to be there also. Too bad Lake Charles fell thru.
Hopefully my shoulder will be healed up enough after this recent surgery so I can get out there with you on the Blaster.
Not making excuses, but damn, this shoulder thing is ongoing way too long.

That would be awesome. I'm trying to get anyone and everyone with a sport ski on the line so we can have an awesome sport class

I actually talked with Shaun about Canyon Lake and may be possible in the years to come but he wanted to nail down a race schedule before the end of the year and the permitting/requests you have to go through can take a while for a lake like that. You should come out and race or just watch. Madisonville is not that far and neither is Baytown
