There are tons of idiots out there for sure, and as stated before the weekends around here are a joke. However it isnít all bad as Iíve had some people impress me at the ramps with swift surgical launches and recoveries. Ok itís rare but I can tell ya I try to be this way. Myself and the wife have a system for both the boat and JetSki and we do both in under a minute.

Also, Iím always willing to stop and help people stuck on sandbars and have towed broken down people in. Iíve gotten to party on quite a few big boats because of it. . I just hope people pay it forward.

I'm with you on that. I've even towed several people out of the mud.

A fun Sunday when I was younger was going to the launch ramp, sitting on the sea wall with a cooler of beer and watching some idiots try to load their boats onto the trailers when the tide was either incoming or out going on a fast flowing coastal river. Good times and some good laughs.

At a Ramp, I once saw a very rusted Trailer for a 30 foot power boat that had a significant broken piece "splinted" with duct tape and a few 2x4's.

I told him, "wow, good thing your drive home is only around the block".

He replied, "home is about 50 miles away, and my temporary fix has held up for 2 years now"! Ugh! JB
