Try milling 20 thou or so off the lip (or all of the lip) off your OEM cylinder head and running the r&d 800 intake grate. Installing a r&d power plenum would compliment the rest of your mods. Hello 75.

not directed just to you but others that may be reading this... the reason I make a point about this is I sell a lot of used parts and give a lot of advice, and it gets confusing when people tell me they have a "GP" instead of "GPR"
-1997-1999 GP760, GP800 and GP1200
-2000-2008 GP800R, GP1200R and GP1300R
-2017 GP1800
all different hulls

As far as the intake grate years ago we all did the testing and the stock grate can/will overstuff the pump above around 64-65mph, usually on deceleration, and the boat will go one direction while you go the other = yard sale
aftermarket 1200R/1300R grate (same one) for all around performance, and the aftermarket 800R grate for top end only- no holeshot but 1+ mph faster on top end
