Do zxi 1100's use the same reed stuffers as ultra 150's?

Does anybody out there know if the zxi/stx 1100 engine uses the same reed stuffers as the Ultra 150/ stxr 1200 engine?

Kawasaki doesn't break it down that far. It all comes as a valve assembly. That said, the 1200 assembly is different than the 900-1100 assembly. But they do take the same gasket so it's possible that the stuffer is the same or maybe it has a larger hole in it for the 1200

Gotcha, thanks David. I had read that they take the same size gasket so I was hoping they use the same stuffer since I'm searching for some r&d reed stuffers for my ultra and can't find any anywhere. I did find some r&d ones for the zxi 1100 but at $80 a piece I don't want to get them on a "hope" that they will fit. Any chance you have spare reed cage out of your machine you could measure the stuffer?

I have a set of cages on the bench and will get you some measurements in a bit.

Thanks again Rodsatheart for taking the time to take all those measurements. They are almost exactly the same as the Ultra stuffers, the only real difference is the square inside opening is a little bigger on the Ultra and the sides are a little taller on the stx 1100. I am going to go ahead and order the R&D stuffers for the zxi and see if they fit now. Here are the measurements of the Ultra stuffers in case anybody cares...... they might work as another option for the zxi/stx 1100
