Where is the best place to buy a BEST extended warrantee
I saw a dealer on Ebay selling a 3 year extended BEST warrantee for $600.00. My dealer wants $1000.00.

1. when did you purchase your ski?
2. $1000 is a rip-off (i.e. more than the warranty's retail price from BRP)
3. how many years warranty CAME with your ski (did you buy it during the promotional period)?
4. you are looking at basic extended BEST warranty? or the wholeeee thing extended BEST with regular interval service coverage?

I paided 800 for mine, got 36 months or what ever the max is. I think PPG said they sell it to me for 600 however that was last june. I got from my dealer here because only seadoo place around and wanted to make sure did not have any hard times with it if anything happens (knock on wood)

if you buy the extended warranty AFTER 60 days from the date of purchase, there is a $100 dollar surcharge that is un-avoidable.
in short, if you plan on keeping the ski past 1 year, buy the full extended warranty WHEN YOU BUY THE SKI, or at least within 60 days. ANY seadoo dealer can sell you the warranty (including me)
the price different between 1 extra year, 2 years, and 3 years is so minimal that it's the best value to buy the full 3 year warranty, it also tremendously helps for resale value if that's an issue.

until march 31st, BRP is giving 1 year extra warranty OR 5.9% finance for 72 months....
that said, no matter if ur ski comes with 1 year or 2 year warranty, you can only extend it for a TOTAL of 4 years with BRP.... if u buy before 3.31.06 and pay cash you get 2 years warranty and can purcahse an additional 2 years warranty.
after 60 days from date of purchase, the 100 dollar surcharge is in effect
