    Ribbon delete question 2012 FXCSHO

Hello all, recently purchased a 2012 FXCSHO, which I have already fell in love with. Currently the ecu is on the way to CA to be reflashed by R&D. I was wondering about the intake gasket. When I do the ribbon delete is the gasket reusable, or should it be replaced? Just wondering, I'm just trying to figure what parts I need. Thanks! Jack

You mean the gasket between the intake manifold and the engine block? Yes it is reusable. Just inspect it for any tears or damage prior to reinstalling.

When you have the manifold off I would drill and tap the bosses on the ends for a BOV or a boost gauge. You never know when you might want them and time to do it is when the manifold is off.

What else is required? What size fitting? And which BOv can you then fit?

My manifold is off at the moment

!/8 inch npt with 1/4 inch barb I used a 90 degree on the front of manifold and works great (on a GP) you also need the correct drill bit and tap

as far as I know it should work with all bov's
