Watch it with 66e (800pv's) normally that is 135m to 157.5 territory depending on pilots with AF!!

That's thirsty especially for having them on a single pipe. Can anyone else claim they need that much more fuel?

    Maybe yamaha?...stock jetting on a 800pv is 90p 155/157.5 prior to 2000, after 2000 mains were dropped to 150s....stock USA 66v were 87.5p & 117.5, with European getting 92.5 & 135m....Basicly same carbs....Jet it like a 1300 with carbs.

The higher port timed cylinders will not require a 20+ jump on the main with the factory single pipe. Thanks for your advice but I'll adjust what I have.

First line, from a guy called "OsideBill", Who is telling you his recipe for the 66v is too lean for the 66e. I think you will find the recommendations I made, latter in the thread, but I can't do all the research, that's half the challenge... Good luck...On a two stroke, always start out rich, then lean out to save the pistons.

Checked and adjusted powervalves. Did a compression test. I'm at 135-138 in all three. Replaced spark plugs and indexed. Put 87mm nozzle back on. Waaaayyyyyy better lol. New top speed 70.3 at 7080 rpms.
