Recipe for reliable 80mph FZR SHO
I was looking around and didn't really see anything current. The FX/FZR mods and speed database is on the old side.
If you were starting with a stock ski what would you need?
My guess is.
-Deans Level 2 IC Tune
-Fizzle IC
-Solas Prop pitched by Dean
-Cooling upgrade
-B2 Wheel
-Ribbon Delete
-Air Intake
The Ultimate Air Intake
Riva Power Filter
-Tommy Jordan Exhaust Mod
-Jim's cut plate

Your list looks good, however the only thing I would change is go with a 160mm liner and 13/17 impeller. I'd definitely do The Ultimate cold air intake kit over the Riva kit.
Also, get a FZ SVHO ride plate and have the Jims Performance mod done to it. Don't even waste your time with a FZ SHO plate.

Basically everything that I have for sale plus a Riva valve train upgrade and an R&D intercooler which I also have for sale. This ski was hitting 83.

Throw the solas prop in the trash and buy a scat! Not worth the risk of it breaking!!

Picked up a ETLB (B2 Wheel). Hoping it will help me get there. Will my Riva ride plate hold me back?

Should I plan on doing the hull reinforcement too? Does it matter what year the ski is?
Mine is an odd 2008build motor with a hull mold date in 2011 and a hull id of 2009. Sold new in 2012.Last edited by not2fast; 02-20-2018 at 10:21 AM.
