Worx ride plate - block off filler plate, removed paddle wheel speedometer, GP1800

Jerry might be interested in adding such a thing to the online store, as an adjunct product to the CANDooPro GPS product.

Would the filler plate be the same across all the Yamaha models?
I have the Worx ride plate for GP1800. Removed the factory paddle wheel speedometer sensor, made this block-off filler plate for the opening.

Material is 6061 aluminum plate at 3/16" thick.

Screws are 5mm x 0.8mm thread, flat head, stainless steel.
A 10-32 stainless steel flat head screw will also work.
I applied blue Loctite to the screw threads.

Note: The opening in the ride plate is not the same shape as the plastic paddle wheel frame.

Note 2: The Yamaha OEM ride plate opening is slightly different size/shape than the Worx ride plate has.

Also, the OEM plate has a small indexing pin for the speedo module, the Worx plate does not. The Worx ride plate was not totally flat where the speedo sits, I had to warp my filler plate slightly to get it to sit flush to the Worx ride plate surfaces.

ultramaxracin is who I bought mine through. Bought two from him. I used a solid piece of rubber from Lowes to fill the hole where the through hull fitting goes then tightened it down just as if the speedo cable was there

I make them as well. Mine arent flat metal though. The recess it sits into isnt flat. It thicker on one and than the other. Mine are a hard black plastic similar to the stock wheel and sits completely flush with the plate surface. They are $12+$3 shipping.
