Only think I do differenlty is I throw some duck tape around my vice just in case it break it will hopefully reduce pieces of metal flying through the air and injuring someone.
    Do it sane way!

Is the R & D dual washer no longer available? I've searched the store and can't find it.

R&D is no longer in business.

If another company is selling the dual washers, I am unaware.

We have an 19 gp with 13/18 stuck on shaft - i think the treads are overlapped between impeller and shaft. This thing never happened on sho's. Had same issue on a 2017 fx svho.

If the driveshaft threads are damaged, the most direct resolution is to buy a new driveshaft to use with your new impeller.

If you do manage to win the fight to get the old impeller off and the driveshaft threads are indeed damaged you probably do not want to use that driveshaft with a new impeller.
