    2016 RXT-260 does 70

Hey guys, I had a perfectly flat Lake Huron this morning, which never happens, so I took full advantage and did some speed runs. Hit 70 both times, before letting off. How's the accuracy of the 16s, anybody know? If accurate, I could be in trouble someday, as USCG is in my area quite a bit. They even launch their rubber boats at the same ramp as me. No SCOM-perfectly stock, 15 hours.

Dash is about 2mph fast over a hand held GPS. But your ski seams to be running well.

Why worry about the Coast guard?

My 14 bumped 70.1 stock, then the limiter would kick in and rpms would roll back to 7850ish. I never looked at factory gauge when stock.

Coast Guard can't do anything...their rules apply to Sea-doo not you.....you can do a hundred if you want.

Lake Huron is 55 mph in Michigan, unless you're at least a mile offshore. I am generally in Tawas Bay and am almost never that far offshore. The USCG has enforcement authority, though I don't know how rigid they are in this area. I do see PWCs running at what appears to be higher than 55 quite a bit.
