the op mentioned a buddy he was with. nothing about that is known, except somebody managed to crawl out of the meatgrinder in the nick of time.

It sounds like you have talked to the the USCG, but what about U.S customs & border protection? You can't be the first instance of a lost passport at sea. I would imagine the USCG would have a case number on this. I would also recommend calling the US embassy in the Bahamas if you haven't already.

The best way to identify a watercraft is with the hull number on the bow.

If you post the hull number (and perhaps the HIN plate number) then someone who finds the ski may Google/search for the hull number and find this thread.

The finder may not be a Greenhulk member, so perhaps you could also post a phone number of someone on the mainland who would know what to do if they got a 'found PWC' call or text message.

If you have a family member back home they may be able to assist with sorting out your 'documentation problem' so you can legally return to the US.

Emergency passports and such are a real thing, people loose (or have stolen) their travel documents every day. You may have to jump through some hoops to make it happen, and it might take days to make it happen for you.

He dropped it and of course it got sucked in the intake grate then it was all over. I tried to get them to throw me another line wile they we're circling me and the caption said he was talking to the coastguard and they told him to tell me to abandon it and swim to his vessel. So I jumped off my ski and swam and caught the tow line they were pulling the other boat with. I was so fatigued from all the swimming in the storm I couldn't hardly pull myself to their boat. They literally pulled me on their boat when I got on I couldn't even walk or breath.
    Good gosh...
