Anybody hear is Yamaha or Kawasaki changing the FX's or Ultras for 2018?

I just sold my 2014 FX SVHO in hopes that maybe a major change will be made in 2018. Don't get me wrong, it was one of the best skis I've ever owned(also liked my 2011 Ultra 300X) but it seems like Yamaha may be due for a change on the FX's. Kawasaki is definitely overdue for a hull makeover as well. Just wondering if anybody's heard nothing yet. If not, I'll probably buy a leftover 2017 FX SVHO in the near future.

Ha. True. It will be disappointing if they don't make a change this year but you're probably right.

Kawasaki is making a slow, painful death.

I hope not but you may be right. I talked to a salesman at my local dealership today and he said neither Yamaha nor Kawasaki is making any changes other then colors. I'm not sure he knows though.

I read that the release date for Yamaha will be Aug-28th

and i also came across a article that Kawasaki lineup leaked and nothing changing other then color.
    https://watercraftjournal.com/galler...-months-early/

also rumors are that Yamaha is also not going to have any changes other then color. maybe 2019 or 2020?? until we see yamaha do something.

2018 will be Sea-doo's year. they are expected to change up a lot of there lineup. its there 50th anniversary

All Yamaha needs to do is to correct current design flaws and add some refinements to have a really great product line.
