You literally just push the centers in until they click and the plastic rivet will be able to come out, then you pop that center all the way back up if you want to reinstall them. They are reusable.

pretty sure that guy is full of shit or made some ragged setup. the pipe is 2.5" outer diameter and they dont make that in pvc. Only option is to run some ghetto intercooler piping setup from ebay, or just buy a pipe. Jetworks makes one about $20 cheaper than the Riva pipe.

just wanting to keep this thread alive. I have a '18 EX Sport now and we all love to mod stuff.
And Reaper, I know of at least three people using pvc piping on the exhaust with no issues. Innovation keeps things alive and making progress. There are two companies that have silicone hoses in all bends and sizes.
    Thanks

We’ll seeing as how you say I’m full of shit. Yes I made an exhaust out of PVC. It worked for a little bit but a buddy of mine traded his ex in and gave me the riva free flow pipe. I since made it into a thru hull exhaust using a seadoo 2.75 riva outlet. It sounds very good. Next up is a tune and prop to push this little ski to 60

Did you see any performance change with the free flow ? I have a few mods on my EX and always looking for more.

I Didn’t see a big difference besides noise. It’s loud as hell but everything I own gets an exhaust. It does cavitate when i launch it from dead stop. I’m going to be doing a stage 1 tune and a prop soon. And possibly a vx 1.0 exhaust manifold swap. Seeing as reading online the 20hp lost in the ex is the manifold. Another ski that stays at my house is a 2017 vx 1.0 so I can see if it fits and If it does I’ll let you know

Thanks. Im not a big fan of loud. I do like good gains tho.
I got the 12/17, but not the power filter or exhaust. The powerfilter is a lot of money for me to put out for what it is.
Let me know about the manifold. A 20hp gain would be awesome.
I will post up my testing as i go thru the tunes on the Maptuner.

Please let me know on how the stage 1 tune and prop do. I’m very interested in doing it
