    Hi

I also have an Ex from 2017 there are some of you who have an idea of how much the tube on a free flow exhaust is on such one when I'm from Denmark and it will be expensive to get it sent from usa so I would even make a stainless steel

Looking into making my own intake and exhaust pretty soon. I'll post pics when I get around to doing it.

Couple of things i have done recently. 1st, get rid of the ribbon.. It is a pain in the ass. It wont just slide out like some of the other skis. I unbolted the whole top of the ski for easy access. Here is is pulled out. Not sure i would do it again.
Then i pulled the clips out of the front storage so i could gain access underneath and have way more storage. The front compartment has a little clip to hold it in place and still seals as far as i can tell. Way more room for things for a long day on the water. (it does get hot in there, so dont store your candy bars in there lol).
Still looking at ways i can do an intake and exhaust. The riva Exhaust is not really that expensive, so i might just go that route, but the intake is way too much.

I also have an ex deluxe. 33 hours now. At 10hours i installed riva exhaust and riva powerfilter kit.

What do you gain by removing that restrictor in exhaus and ribbon delete? Have you looked at your spark plugs ? Some run lean after removing ribbon

The exhaust plate helped the holeshot a little and made it sound better. As far as i can tell, the ribbon did nothing. I wouldnt go through the trouble of pulling it if i had another one. Havent looked at the plugs, but i doubt its running lean. The computer can easilt handle the change. Hows the filter and exhaust doing?

I did the same. Removed the ribbon can’t tell if it helped but it’s not fun to pull. For a free flow just use pvc pipe cost me 26 bucks and works fine. I have a base model and just added reverse to mine with a factory kit

The pump is smaller I think 146mm instead of 155mm like the v1 and also the steering nozzle is smaller then thev1.I am pretty sure if you ordered a steering nozzle from a v1 2016 you will gain a few miles an hours because the pump is smaller and with that small nozzle it is too restrictive.Did the ribbon on the v1 gain 5mph and on the Ex nothing.Opening the pump nozzle 3 mm would help also.

How did the plastic rivets come out? I just bought a 2017 and a 2018 ex deluxe and immediately had the same idea.
