service bulletin for 09-11 that says pump to ride plates must be replaced every time

Sorry for the title, have a problem with my dealer! Looking for the service bulletin that says jet pump bolts, on my 11 RXT 260 must be replaced every time pump is removed. I saw the bulletin somewhere on here but cant seem to find it. Thanks for your help

There was a TSB to replace the factory ALLEN bolts for longer HEX bolts and a HIGHER torque.

If you have the hex. head bolts installed your good.

You can re-use them once you cleaned the bolt and the threaded hole from old Loctite

Use Loctite, torque till 35 Nm and let dry overnight. Also don't start ski on trailer.

there is also a TSB that says bolts must be replaced and new bolts used with scotch loc used every disassembly. says not to reuse bolts or loctite 242 or 243. Scotch loc is not suceptable to ride plate heat

I think I had my pump of for least a dozen times and never had any problem!

But I'm only speaking from own experience but I think most ride plate mounted jet pump owners here will agree!

Who does not want to re-use bolts, you or the dealer?

I agree but need the bulletin to show dealer who did not f\put pump back correctly, no torque and no loctite. I told him he said prove it then I said actually bulletin says you must use new bolts

saw that one but there is another stating new bolts must be used and old bolts can not be reused due to scotch loc compound

Time for a new dealer, or better buy yourself a shop manual and do these kind of jobs yourself !!
