Not through the diagnostic app, for monitoring knock, and all other engine parameters you need the data logging kit

This kit contains everything you need to log and analyze valuable information from your YAMAHA & BRP vehicles with your Maptuner X. Application will...

I had it and it was awful. I ended up trading for the monitoring app. Seems kind of useless to be able to monitor things like air flow and MAP but not knock....whatís the point in monitoring anything if you canít view the most important details of the engine?

Maptuner can log Knock... You just need to know how to read timing.

In seadoo we log , main ignition, ignition 1, 2 and 3

So when ignition drops a couple of degrees or drop very gradually , that is not knock. It's ignition correction due to engine and intake temps.

When you get 5 or more degrees down...normally that is knock...but could be also for too many reasons. Not always knock means you have a high timing, could be bad fueling, also vibrations in the prop, etc.

So it's just about to learn how to read and interpret the values in the log

Iím aware, but as far as the monitoring app, why isnít it available for viewing instead of a few of the useless parameters it displays? Knock is just as important as AFR and it would be nice/useful to monitor it while riding.

Because Bosch ECU is more complicated than that. Knock doesn't work on Bosch ECUs like it does on Vipec, Motec or any other stand alone ecu.

Here is the thing ...or what I will advise. Monitoring is to check that there is not dangerous values... so once you check AFR is "safe" you can use the log app to make a logged file, so you can adjust fuel and timing.

A logged file is a ride for 5 min aprox. then you can see and check logged file to see where and what you need to adjust.

im interested in this tool. the description implies that you have to buy a licence for each ski after the first one. Am i correct? if so, how much is each licence?

I purchase the Maptuner and license, yesterday I connect to my rxp300 add new vehicle, and then sync to my pc, I had a massage that the vin is allready used by other user
its already programmed with other Maptuner..
unfairly I purchase my license??? That not a problem, I would use it to another ski, but I allready use the code to start my new Maptuner...
