Mid/ late August as in years past. I personally don't expect much from Yamaha this year with the GPs still being only a year old and the SVHO engine being a proven beast.

How bout instead of gobs more power, A reinforced mount for the intake grate, a one piece charger shaft, a pinned charger housing, a shock assisted front hatch, bilge pump, no mirrors and oh yah more power! Did I miss anything

While I agree with your entire list, I can't believe you said "no mirrors". I was thinking the same exact thing. Get rid of those God awful mirrors or at least make them removable. I'm not saying that they don't work, I am saying that they don't work with the look of the ski. Has anyone seen an aftermarket hood for one yet? Would love to see it…

    Gp 1800 ltd??

How sweet would that be? Sort of like Sea-Doo did with the XP 800 or RXX.

Obviously it will never happen, but imagine this for the race inspired customer…

    GP1800
    Same exact power output
    Racing inspired mirror-less hood
Seriously bolstered Racing inspired seat (for 1 person)
Aftermarket grate, plate and sponsons with the necessary safety upgrades
    Manual lever-style trim

    And some other shit.....
That would be (AND LOOK) badass!!!
