    RXP won't turn past 7450

Its been a while since I've been on here so hello everyone !

When i had the Riva ECU i couldn't for the life of me get the ski to go past 8400 RPMs…….No matter what we did with pitch/rings nothing. I data logged it when my LCD-200 actually worked and sent to Andy Whittle and he said my ski was literally acting like the rev limit was at 8400 RPMs. Fast forward to now and I'm on an LB 9200 flash for 80s. Ski is doing the exact same thing. To try and keep things simple i zeroed out my CMD map and turned off auto tune to run the LB flash only. i was having some fueling issues and think that maybe the dynojet was doing something funky. I'm on the water last week, ski felt great, I'm cruising around warming it up, then i go to rip on it and all feels good but boom there i am at 8400 RPMs again then all of a sudden i felt like a surge in power and ski backs off to 7400-7500 RPMs…..im looking at the gauges and i notice the boost isn't going past 5 lbs and I'm running an ET137x4. Talked to Rob and I'm gonna start with checking slip and looking for boost leaks. I just don't know WTF is going on.

Check and make sure the impeller wheel on the Scer isnt spinning on the shaft.....Torque that nut down to 25Ft lbs as long as you have the SCer out...

Local guy had this problem and it turned out to be the intake manifold. it had separated at the seam but remained sealed enough to allow some boost or even full boost for a very short period of time then lifted up and kept him around 7600 if I remember correctly. Makes a notorious hissing sound.

I would go for a leaking intake manifold. Can't hear anything if its not a bad leak. Just won't make boost pass a certain point. Says like 8lbs with a 137ET when you should have 15lbs. Just feels like it goes flat.

I have a LB9200 flash on my 2008 RXPX. Running 62PSI without a boost line. Pretty good AFRs.
