I have had one in my 2012 Rxpx for 5 years. They are good coolers, if you take proper care of them.

plenty of people run them with out issue. but my question if you knew where it was made, the quality is supposedly shit and the qc is not good enough, why did you buy it in the first place... especially if you live in the same country it was made..... china is the knock off product capital of the world. maybe you got hosed on a riva knock off by a fellow countryman ?

I will soon have 400hrs on my ski and still using Riva Gen3 from 3 years ago.

There are several Riva knock-offs using same tanks and looks the same...except for sloppy welds.

Also, I've been running a water strainer since day 1 and that makes a big difference IMNSHO.

As has been mentioned, you are positioned in an area where the term knock-off is synonymous with "made in China" (ie. pure shit, no honor).

FYI: The Riva IC's do NOT "laser the logo on cooler"...

I hate my water strainer, keeps leaking all over. I'm about to install a water strainer delete kit.

2 riva gen 3 coolers ran for ever in salt water/no strainer no issues.

I have run two for over 5 years. Running over 30 lbs of boost and run in salt water. No issues. I have heard some experience early failure. You could have a knock off.

I say maybe flush your stuff better?? Plenty of people have them with no issues...also maybe water ingested as well... looks like lack of maintenance all around to me.
