R&D Ultimate Billet Supercharger Shaft Difference?

Hi I'm just wondering why some pictures of the R&D Ultimate Billet Supercharger Shaft Kit shows what looks to be a washer part way up the shaft and others don't. Is this something that was added or removed for a reason?

    Thanks

I wondered about this too. The shaft I got from R&D did not include the washer and the instructions made no mention of it. Installed nice and snug on my '16 and has worked just fine.

How many hours do you have on the shaft? Any Mods and what RPM you run?

    Thanks

Pretty new still only around 5 hrs or so. Got an F1 wheel on it spinning around 9k. Time will tell I guess.

I am putting an f1 in my ski this weekend as well and also use the maptuner. the stage 2 tunes aren't set up for a different wheel. I have not added a pressure regulator though. did you find the stage 2 tunes to work ok with the f1? I was assuming that without changing fuel pressure I would have to have jesus modify the stage 2 fuel curve a little to work with it. did you find you needed the rrfpr?

Yes, in my case, but I'm running rising rate and upgraded fuel pump. Never tried without. As far as altering the maps for static pressure, don't know, definitely a Jesus question.

Youll definitely want a fuel pressure regulator with bigger wheel. Once you have that and afr gauge you can pretty much dial in afr for any weather assuming you have the limiter where you want it and prop pitched accordingly.

Not with the MaptunerX tunes! I'm installing the F1 on my GP and Jesus Garcia said using the 1000cc injectors with the MaptunerX stage 3 tune was necessary. Stage 3 map will fuel both the F1 and F2 upgrades. Stock fuel pump and stock fuel pressure regulator!
