2017 Ultra 310lx zero hours tps failure.

Hey all. Had a stx-15f which I loved and sold it for a brand new '17 ultra (awesome buying experience from Dennis at Hamilton Yamaha.) Went to start it the other day and it had the f1 light/alarm w/ et1 code. Brought it to the dealer and said they needed to replace the throttle position sensor/relay? Is this a common failure on this ski? It has ZERO hours and hasn't even seen the water yet. I hope this isn't a bad omen for this season.

Dennis' team will fix it, they are a great dealership and stand behind what they sell. Did you happen to have the Ultra 310 with the Jetsound system ? I was there picking up my new ski last week when one of those pulled in, it looked brand new.

Yep that's her if it had NYS registration. I have confidence with them. Just unnerving. What'd you get?

Awesome. Dennis said he's sold upwards of a hundred skiis since the boat show or so. I believe it with the pile of crate wood that I saw. Definitely a good guy.

So an update. They said the tps wasn't the issue and replaced throttle body. I ran it on hose and no f1 alarm. Installed candoo. Took the ski out to the lake ran great for maybe an hour and it produced the same f1 alarm w/ et1 code. Incredibly frustrating to say the least.
