    GP1800 trailer setup

I'm picking up my GP1800 from storage soon and want to position my bunks and winch roller ahead of time, since they're still set up for the old GPR and it's a good opportunity to refresh much of the bracketry while that spot's empty. Any advice on bunk spread distance, and how far forward of the axle to put the winch roller for weight distribution? I'll fine tune once I have the ski, I just want it close enough to minimize adjustments at pickup time.

If you dont get an answer by tonight then when I get home from work I can measure up some bunk dimensions for you.

Bunk inside to inside gap width measurement would be the most important number.

You have the bunks positioned between the chine ridges, correct?

Thanks. And yep, inside to inside of the bunks would be great. I'm more concerned about that, since I can always add/remove weight from the trailer box for the ride home if I really need to.

I actually had a dealer set up a trailer so the chines were centered on the bunks back when I bought my first ski. The guy swore up and down that's the way it was supposed to be as I was giving him the stink eye.

Ok, mine right now are exactly as they were for my FZR and it fits ok.
I will be pushing bunks a bit closer for a better fit once ski is in water.
So right now board to board is 18". I would make it 17" and try that.
