advice for check engine light on spring startup

So I just fired it up after winter storage. Prior to putting it away I was getting an intermittent check engine light that would just go away on its own. Well now on spring startup it wont go away. Oil is fine but coolant was very low. It was on the bottom of the expansion bulb. I filled it up. The spark runs great, sport mode and all. I can hit 50mph and accelerates well.

The check engine is always on. I tried removing the battery ground for a bit and no change. Any tips? Obviously getting it scanned would be good, but it is a real PITA to do that. I am almost ready to just buy my own scanner to avoid doing that. Hoping one of you may have a tip for a check engine check list that doesnt trip limp mode.

Kind of helped, thanks. According to that file, "Reading Fault Codes Using theMultifunction Gauge" "Fault codes cannot be displayed in this multifunctiongauge". Looks like I have to buy the candoo.....

Do you plan on vtech? If so, it will read and erase codes.

I would buy it if I could read codes without additional purchases. Unfortunately, you have to also buy a tuning license. The total cost is WAY more than candoo pro....

Getting a tune on a 90hp spark is kind of silly.

    Hi,

Maptuner X allow you to read DTC Codes on vehicle without Tuning License.

    Have a good weekend,
