    2005 RXP dropped a valve

Last year bought a Seadoo 2005 RXP and aluminum Triton trailer for $2k. Rode the hell out of the RXP the last year, putting 100 miles on it almost every rideable weekend, including last weekend.
Today it dropped a valve while running 60 (i think judging by the spark plug)...killing #2 cylinder. I'm stuck on whether to part this thing out or fix it. I bought it for $2k with a new aluminum trailer and a reman SBT premium motor with 150 hours on the engine, didn't touch it for 50 hours, put $560 into rebuilding the supercharger and oil pump and TOPS system, and then have beat the piss out of it for the last 60ish hours.
Wife is devastated (key note, she originally opposed the purchase LOL) new motor is min $2600+ fluids/gaskets.
The damned thing is cheap enough I honestly don't care...but I (to keep the queen happy, and that I enjoy it also) want to get back on the water. Would y'all spend the monies on fixing the ski or parting it out for a small loss and finding a new ski?

If the vote is to fix, what's the part number for the BRP reman that I keep hearing about? I'm assuming buying an SBT longblock is a stupid idea, right?

Found a 2014 RXP engine with 29 hours on it asking $2900. What all needs to be changed to get that to work in my 2005?

clock the encoder wheel two bolts back, swap valves cover, front pump, pto and take the plastic piece off of the front of the cam for an 05. Basically everything that bolts onto the block and head has to swap over. Brp reman might be a better option, the part number used to be 421000657 but might have been superceded.

It gets real expensive quick on dropped valves........ especially if it cracked the cylinder block on #2 & Killed the head casting. Even if you could do all the work yourself its still expensive I have repaired several w the same issue..
