    NEED ADVICE. Rxt 2010

    I have a 2010 rxt is 260. 145 hours. Currently rebuilding the supercharger before this season. My friend has a 2016 rxtx 300. My question is what mods can I do that will keep up with him until my top speed will be faster. Meaning I've seen all these mods that increase top speed which I want. But how can I be all around faster than that ski. Obviously buying a 300 would be the answer but that isn't an option. I have around 1500 to spend on mods.

    The ski is bone stock. The only thing I have ordered is thru hull exhaust from riva. I plan on ordering the speed limiter. With some mods I know I'll be faster top speed. But want the best mod list to be faster 0-60 and top speed be faster than a stock ski on the water.

    Be prepared to open your wallet. I had a 2014 RXT-X 260 and spent roughly $3500-$4000 in performance parts which would hit 77-78mph on the dash. When the RXT-X 300 came out I put in a $200 SCOM and the 300 would still outperform the 260. My guess is in addition to the performance parts I had on my 260 I would of also needed to add a bigger charger wheel, bigger injectors, springs and retainers and data logging capability in order to be faster than my 300. I guess you would be looking at roughly $5500 to go faster than the 300. Im not an expert in anyway, I am just basing this off my experience, maybe others know what the best approach would be.

    Then I guess my question is at this point would be what's the best performance part combo for 1500$.

    First thing to do to gain ANY power related performance would be to reflash with the Maptuner X, then kanaflex intake, GRF catch can and the R&D aquavein intake grate. Also make sure your wear ring is in tip top condition.

    Stay away from the Riva SCOM on the 260 ski's they do nothing.

    I own two suspension skis including the 2010 RXT iS. I swapped the intake to the Riva intake made for iS skis and removed the arrestor from the intake manifold using the Riva intake manifold upgrade kit. The aftermarket air filter also makes access to the engine alittle easier, especially spraying things down to keep corrosion at bay. The ski was much more responsive after these upgrades and will consistently hit 73-74. I also put a solas prop, stainless ring in, and bit the bullet on a MaptunerX. Be prepared though working on these skis is a royal pain if you haven't tipped the deck before. You say your rebuilding the supercharger so I am assuming you already have the deck tipped.
