    Riva Catch Can Leaking

Hi everyone just wanted to get some feedback and see if anyone is experiencing the same thing I am. Took the ski out for the second time this season on Sunday and noticed after my ride that the catch can was leaking into my hull. (Yes the valve was shut) Last season I never had a problem with this. If it keeps leaking I am going to make the jump to the GRF can as I bought this one before the GRF came out . Also getting a fair amount of blow by in the can due to oil level which I have since corrected. Any input is appreciated.

My old riva did the same thing, That valve is a piece of crap. Go with the GFR can, it's a way better product and has a baffle in it to stop anything from coming out the filter too.

I havent installed my riva catch can yet , the valve looks pretty solid , but i can see how oil might blow out the top of the filter , im surprised there is no type of sponge cover for the filter ..ill have to make one if that becomes a problem

My skis in storage not at my house.. The gas tank has a corner that bumbs out more then the rest, I put my catch can in the corner to give it more of a secure area.
As far as making a catch can you can easily Google it there's detailed instructions.
