motec, vipec, ect removing dbw throttle

just wondering if anyone running any aftermarket ecu is getting rid of he dbw and going back to a cable throttle body. and just a single tps sensor on he throttle body wired to tps input #1 at the ecu. no need for aps sensor, multiple tps sensors in throttle body and no relay for controlling the stepper motor in the throttle body. should get rid of the throttle lag with dbw, unless a reflash or aftermarket ecu's have faster throttle response. my only basis is stock sho.

Most stand alones you can actually adjust how agressive/sensitive you want the TB to react based on tps. Could have 75%tps actually be 100%TB open...

Dont know if you'd even notice it but it Should be zero lag or at least fractions of a second better then it takes time for the cable to open.

the riva maptune x files have designation ATR and AGR on them for a reason. ATR = Aggressive Throttle Response (more aggressive throttle response than stock)

thank you for replies. im going deans reflash instead of map tuner. hopefully he has something for the throttle response as well. i haven't ridden my gpr sho yet but did notice the lag with the throttle on our nearly stock 08 fx sho just got recently.

now this is somewhat sorted out does anyone know if the sho throttle body will fit on fx ho and vxr normally aspirated intake manifold. i know the ribbon delete is different part numbers.

When I first rode an 08 Sho I also noticed the lag
But to be honest I did not notice it on my 10 fzs when it was stock
