2000 Gp1200R electrical demon. Ski bogs only after 10 min ride? any help guys?

Hi Guys. I picked up a 2000 GP1200 R. With 199 hours on it . It has a stinger 2 Exhaust ,Riva heads about 125PSI. I've re jetted and rebuilt carbs . It has Riva air filters and other Riva stage 2 handling stuff.
Anyhow it runs sweet as for about 10 mins. Accelerates hard- idles great, doesnt run out of fuel anywhere Hi or Low. But after 10 mins or so It starts bogging-losing power. Feels like it surging between 2 and 3 cyl's then after a while drops down to 2 completely . Now the plugs 1 and 3 are nice coffee brown. The middle a little leaner but still enough colour for me to be happy so Im pretty confident not fuel related. But when it starts bogging middle (2) plug is wet with unburnt fuel. This is the only wet plug. 1 and 3 are dry.
I replaced coil and lead in that plug . Still the same result.
Battery is new YB 20 XT so all good there.

I've done a static stator ohm test. Tested another stator ohms to compare. both within same spec. The ski is pretty corroded-Typical Florida boat.
Now I do understand within spec doesn't guarantee they're Ok !! but its a good start right?.

I know coils don't normally go out neither do CDi's and stator is within spec. But Hey Somethings up. The key thing is after 10 mins running hard and perfect she loses power. Im guessing on my middle cylinder-hence the wet plug!

any ideas or anyone had similar issues and fixed it Im sure many have LOL.
    Chime in if you have.
    Cheers!!

I'd start by changing the plugs.Check the gas cap and see if it's got pressure.

bad reed or leaking crank seal.

you have a loss of power that stand a good chance of NOT being an ignition issue ( the cdi is still on the suspect list ) but does appear to be heat related

I'm assuming the wet plug is significantly cooler then the running plugs?

did you have a peek at the reeds when the carbs were off?

the mods to the ski suggest to me that it was run hard, hence my swag about reeds etc.

did you take a compression reading with the engine up to temp?

might have to borescope the jugs or pull the head, my other thought would be a sticking ring

    hot compression test
    pull carbs check reeds
inspect jug ( scoping is easier this time)

Plug leads probably shorting out ,especially if they are OEM and never been replaced .

For a very fair price JetSkiSolutions can replace your wires with really nice MSD wires in just about any color you'd like. I have used them several times, they do quality work.

Check voltage on battery while running and acting goofy. When the voltage regulator/rectifier fails and causes an over-volt situation, all kinds of strange things can happen.

Plug temps were about the same.Reeds were fine when i checked last. If a Reed is bad it will act bad from the get go. Motor runs sweet untill about 10 mins. Comp test is all good 125 psi each. Again if bad would run bad from the get go..Thanks for you input!
