    Removing a grate?

I have a 07 rxp 215 and was wondering if there are any nuts inside the hull for the grate? What type of Loctite and sealant do I use? Should I heat the bolts up somehow first?I am new to working on these jet skis and don't want to screw anything up. Thanks in advance everyone!

Hey pal, there are no nuts inside the hull, you just need to remove the 5 bolts and you're good to go. When re installing use blue loctite.

for something as critical as a fastener that is in direct line with the water inlet for your pump, the answer would be

HELL YEAH < SEE SERVICE MANUAL FOR VALUES AND WATCH OUT THAT YOU USE INCH LBS AND NOT FT LBS ON YOUR WRENCH>

I actually replace the bolts when I install a new grate my customers for the most part, appreciate the logic there. especially the ones that have lost a grate the hard way

for removal heat the bolts up a bit and wait. if there is a feeling you are in trouble spinning them out, hit it again. you don't want to break one off.
