    New CP Piston w/ Kramm-lox issues

    im having a heck of time installing the new Krammlox circlips on a new set of cps, does any one have any pointers?

    Good luck.. The video makes it look like a breeze. Probably using smaller gauge clips too. I tossed them and used different clips.

    lol yes video they just slide right in! ended up tossing tool, used my old school way with my thumb and flat head! thanks all

    i still dont know how i get them in, but i know my thumbs shiver at the sight of CP boxes, but the vids do show lighter gauge clips

    The tool sucks, I tossed mine. Place the clip in the correct position like the instructions show then carefully use a flat blade screw driver to push/set the clip in the groove. It works great just be careful. If the pin pops out check the neighbors yard.

    I have never used the tool. I put the hooked part into its spot in the groove then use a flat head screw driver and push down. I think im over a few hundred builds with CP pistons and I can do them in a couple minutes now. But it def sucks.
