Very confused here fzs vs gp1800 in chop

Really going to need more time for people to ride the GP. I have a FZR and bought a GP for its pure speed but hope it's good in the rough once it's set up with some good handling components.
    Time will tell !!

Based on modified GP's I'm seeing they're definitely not faster mod for mod than the FZ. Example...One guy just posted his GP with tune, prop, intake, 100 octane, etc etc is going 79mph on gps...Dean Charrier had bone stock off the showroom FZ's with just a flash doing 78mph on gps on pump gas 93.

mmmm all depends, we should compare apples to apples. Look at climates, altituds etc. I have had FZ FX and now GP. all same mods in same climate and same place to run. GP is about 2 mph faster than FZ.

Based on the results people are posting it's definitely not 2mph faster and it's not faster at all. It's the same if anything. And I would agree that the FZ hull has the better ride. Are GP's running 78mph with just a flash off the showroom floor?

And if they're 2mph faster also show me the stock wheel GP running 92mph on pump gas...Since mine runs 90+ they would certainly be at 92mph easily right...
