    4tec valve stem seals removal

    Hello
    Any trick to remove stem seals easily?

    If you're not re-using them than I got mine out with regular pliers. Don't squeeze them too hard, just enough to get some friction and wiggle them out.

    If you're re-using them then they have special pliers which won't damage them, but do you really want to reuse them ..that is the question

    if you heat them with a blowgun a little they will fall off easy.

    So when I do springs and retainers what exactly do I need bedsides the supertech kit and rocker bolts ? I need new stem seals ? Ski is new rxp 300?

    thanks much much i will try it when new ones will be in, i tried with pliers, very tough to come off.

    Depending on the hours on the engine valve guides specially on the hot side if you have to much wiggle, I sent mines out for a new valve seat job, seals, guides to use with my new ST valve kit , you want to squeeze every pony out of that head .

    The tool they use look like a hose grabber I used one and they come off easy no need to heat them in my case
