    Info on 2002 Yamaha XLT1200

My buddy just bought a xlt1200 and wants to get it up to speed a bit. What would be a few good additions to get the thing above 60. Its speedometer tops out at 55 but we havent measured it on an actual GPS yet. I tried looking up the ribbon delete but cant find it for his model on riva. I will also contact Jim to see about the plate for him. If anyone has some good info on modding the 2002 xlt1200 let us know

The stock plate is no good shaped like a v, a r&d plate modded is the way to go.
