measure the clearance between the prop and wear ring....the tighter the better.

Any tests or data to support this yet? I'm hoping for a youtube video comparison that shows a reduction in rev limiter bouncing from an idle pull - that sound just makes me cringe. Not trying to poo-poo the L13, just with the amount of tweaking that goes into it I want to make sure of proven results before I take the plunge and destroy a reduction nozzle.

Why would you destroy the nozzle? All the people I know that replaced the prop came across bad cavitation, L13 cone took away about 75% of it.

Removing the siphon tube and reaming the internal diameter of the reduction nozzle qualifies as destroying to me if I don't get results, or worse, aren't happy with the results (or worse yet, muck it up). Yeah, it's not the end of the world, but my days of having copious tweaking and tuning time and quick ramp access are long gone, and if it's not simple I definitely want proven.

I run stock nozzle but for proves only your ski can tell you that
