Garmin colorado 400. Not sure if they still make it but it been good. Full color display and you can get really detailed maps.

Garmin GPSMap 78SC on a RAM suction cup mount + backup tether.

Depending on where you ride, you may have to purchase additional maps for this unit.

How do you like the ram mount? I've been thinking about buying one.

Once you get it on, it's good, but not outstanding.

    Pros:
With the ball hinge, it can be positioned for any viewing angle.
    It's quite rugged.

    Cons:
Doesn't stick to wet surfaces (!?) - You must make sure the surface is completely dry or it won't stick.
Can fall off while riding in choppy waters - I have mine tethered to the ski as a backup.

The best mount I've used was the Garmin OEM mount, but it required drilling holes. I had that on a prior ski, but didn't want to drill holes in my newer ride.

You're picking up an X model correct? Use the RAM ball mount arrangement where you replace a factory fastener.
