Looking for ideas for a beach cart for my slx and my honda

I've searched around a bit and haven't really found much.

For some background, I have a place on Lake Erie. Where I am, there is a large beach (~40ft) between a break wall and the water. I want to build an aluminum cart to move my skis (one at a time) from the wall to the lake.

My father also has a place on the same beach and uses one of the carts with the large sand tires. With his relatively light Kawasaki, it is still a 3 person job to get it in and out of the lake. The biggest issue is that the cart floats with the large wheels, making loading and unloading very difficult.

My plan is to make a cart with aluminum rims (no tires). The cart will have a canvass sling that is on a winch system that goes under the ski to lift and lower the it into the water. I will also install a winch (there is 110V or I could use a 12V battery) on the wall to pull the ski out and back up the beach. I don't think that pushing the cart to the water will be an issue since there is a pretty good decline to the shore.

I have a few designs in mind, but I was hoping someone has been down this path before and can provide some ideas.

If I get some time I will make a quick model of the ideas I have in my head.

I did see that, and that's sort of the thought process I'm going with (minus being motorized). I like the idea of lifting and lowering into the water.
