    Travel "Bra"

Does anyone know if you can buy a neoprene like Bra for the front of your ski? Looking for something for long trips to protect the front and underneath from stones and whatnot

    have a 2016 FZR

No, but that's a damn good idea.

You could probably make one from stuff you get at a fabric store for around $50.

Get a ten dollar sewing machine at a garage sale, you'd be all set. Hell, I'd pay $150 for something like that. Well worth it to prevent gelcoat work in the future.

Hey guys am I missing something here? A good ski cover will accomplish just what you want. You say that maybe you are worried about your gelcoat as you travel down the road. Just find an old very soft blanket or felt bed sheet and then cut and place the felt bed sheet inside of your ski cover. You can use spray adhesive on the pieces as you place the sheet inside your cover. It provides a very clean & soft protectant layer over your ski. you never have to worry about cover rash again. Oh, and the best part is, it cost only about $10. No kidding! And an added bonus is when you take your ski cover off the paint surface looks just polished. Steve Lee

He wants something to protect the hull, not just the topdeck. Ideally it would maybe hook on the bow eye, and maybe run down center and hook to the trailer or rear hooks, maybe across the sides a little bit. Like a Zorro mask or something.

Those look dumb as hell and interfere with access to the bow, and they don't protect the underside.

I'll come up with a prototype. Or at least a rendering.
